About Us

Decorated silk scarves are traced back to ancient Egypt, when Queen Nefertiti wove one into her headdress. For Kris, the history dates to her mother, who taught her the technique.

She has spent her adult years training other adults in the skill of dealing with people and bringing out the best in them. As a kind of moving meditation, she has used her creativity to hand paint a variety of patterns onto the finest silk, fabricating scarves, handkerchiefs, baby blankets, and all manner of custom pieces.

Kris is able not only to visualize, but translate your ideas and vision into a true piece of art. Each piece is unique, hand-painted, hand-finished, and created as “gift wrap” for you.
